Yonsei Medical Journal, which is the official journal of the Yonsei University College of Medicine, was first published in 1960. It was initially published once a year but became a biannual journal in 1968, a quarterly journal in 1986 and then a bimonthly journal in 1995.
In 1962, Yonsei Medical Journal became the first Korean journal indexed in Index Medicus. From the first issue of year 1998, Yonsei Medical Journal has been
indexed in SciSearch® (Science Citation Index®-Expanded), Current Contents®/Clinical Medicine, Research Alert®. It has been also included in Journal Citation Reports® (JCR®). Full text PDF files are available at www.eYMJ.org
Interested authors working in any research field related to biomedicine are encouraged to submit original articles, review articles, case reports, brief communications, and letters to the editor to Yonsei Medical Journal for publication.
